The overflowing information and conflict around what it means to be ‘healthy’, leaves us confused and questioning ourselves.

Woman-Centred
All sessions are designed for woman at the centre. Your commitments as a #womanboss, giver, juggler, carrier, carer; these roles are witnessed and factored. Your lived experience, culture, wisdom and knowledge guide our work. You are seen and recognised as the expert of your own body; you chose, you decide. Your menstrual cycle is highlighted as a key component of health; we track it, we acknowledge it, we use it as a guide to rest, to move, to nourish and to flourish. If you are experiencing any menopause phase; we thoughtfully integrate this transition into our intention and plan. Your pelvic floor is not ignored; this important muscle that supports us through so many aspects of life is prioritised, so you feel supported - physically and mentally. And most importantly, the pressures that society places on us as woman and our bodies is observed and discussed; we explore its hold and how we can let go, so we can live out the life we have always imagined.
Empowerment & Joy
I believe the act of movement and nourishment should bring us joy and empowerment. Mainstream approaches to ‘nutrition’ and ‘fitness’ seem to be focused on aesthetics and ‘thinness’. However, I offer an approach that seeks to pivot away from this notion. And instead, the act of nourishment can be about listening and reconnecting to yourself as you sustain your body through the journey of life. And the intention of movement can be for what it brings back into your body; strength, power, resilience, flow, softness, flexibility, connection and joy.
Individualised care
No two sessions are ever the same. We are all unique human beings with unique needs, desires and dreams. Before our session, through a discovery call and an in-depth screening process, together we establish the focus for your session to ensure your needs are addressed. I can promise; you won’t ever receive from me a ‘template’ band-aid approach that doesn’t consider your beautiful uniqueness and your important needs
Ethics & Professionalism
I am committed to my own personal on-going growth, development and healing as a human being. I actively partake in therapeutic practises, supervision and education/training. This is important for me as it allows me to be the best version of myself and to hold space for my clients in a safe and considered way. Therefore, I have the ability to recognise when something is out of my scope or when you would benefit from another health modality; my promise to you is that I will always refer you to keep you safe and your needs prioritised. I know many brilliant health care professionals, also in this space of client/woman centred care.
Weight-Neutral, Body Affirming
Unlike conventional methods, this approach is not about focusing on ‘weight-loss’ or body changes in the pursuit of ’health’ and ‘well-being’. Rather, this approach is about reconnecting you to body appreciation and your own inner wisdom. It is about redefining your own version of health so we can uncover supportive practices and behaviour change options that feel good for you and your body. This is not about restriction or deprivation or the ‘go hard OR go home’ approach. I believe that you know the most helpful ways to feed yourself (and your loved ones!). I believe you know the most supportive & joyful ways to move your body. My hope is to guide and hold space for you - as you begin this journey back to reconnection.
Well-Being & Health as holistic, interconnected & multi-dimensional
This approach is guided by Te Whare Tapa Whā; the māori health model, which recognises ‘health & well-being’ as holistic, interconnected & multidimensional. When we look at nourishment and movement as a component in a much larger picture, we can approach it with more ease, curiosity and confidence. ‘Health’ & ‘Well-Being’ should be our birth right; however, the attainment is complex and layered in social, racial, & equity justice matters and trauma. I am committed to the acknowledgment of this and on-going work and reflection in these areas.
Evidence Informed-Practice.
The approaches I refer to within session are based on evidence-informed practice. This means that I not only consider the best available research and evidence but also methods that have been successful for other practitioners and people with lived-experience. Before we try or apply any approach - you will be given the final decision; to feel for whether it will work for you and fit within your life. This ensures the work we do together is in collaboration. I believe you hold the expertise to what is right for you and your body, however I can help guide you gently back to this inner wisdom

Previously, the search for health and well-being may have meant your intention was focused on changing/shrinking your body OR you would restrict/deprive yourself OR push through with a ‘specific food and/or exercise regimes’, even though every part of you asked; “STOP. This doesn’t feel right. Please listen...I’m still here”. You’ve been there. You know how that story ends.
Now, you have a new opening which acknowledges that the concept of health and well-being mean something different for each unique person. You are ready to redefine this meaning for yourself. In the past, you may have engaged in ‘movement’ purely for the desire to change or shrink your body. You may have even been ‘prescribed’ movements or ‘fitness’ regimes that just aren’t right for you. You want someone to truly see you and understand what your body needs. You’re over gym culture. You’re over boutique centres pushing unsustainable approaches and of course; ‘thinness’. You may attend the gym/facility and enjoy it but want a new mindset. You may have never stepped foot into a gym (and you may never want too). You may have no idea where to start with movement.
But you are ready to bring movement back into your body. And this time it’s not driven by weight-loss or aesthetics. Yes, those desires may still be lingering, and that’s okay, but this time you want movement for how it makes you feel. For the support it can bring. Nourishment to support your life experiences & adventures.
You may have the lost connection; that the act of nourishment seeks to sustain your life experiences and adventures. That to nourish yourself means to provide your body with the support it needs to journey through life. You may feel disempowered when it comes to eating and confused about nutrition. The noise has made it hard for you to deifier myths and fearmongering. You may have used food in the past as a way to attempt to change your body. And you have likely disconnected from nourishment for joy. You’ve done the diets, the fads, the health regimes, the restriction and deprivation.
But, you are ready now to reconnect to a new philosophy of nourishment. To feed yourself with confidence and ease. To eat with enjoyment and peace. You are ready to take your power back. To reconnect to the caregiver within you that already knows what foods are right for your body.

An initial consult is $110 and a follow-up is $55.
I also offer reduced packages i.e. if you book an Initial Movement AND Nourishment Session it is $200 (this is a saving of $20 and includes 2 × 1.5 hour sessions!)

Through an in-depth ‘Pre-Screening’ process, together, we set the intentions for the session, this is to ensure you get exactly what you hoped for during our time together.

Due to the limited space, I currently only offer nourishment and movement sessions for 2 people. These are offered at a cheaper rate. If you are interested, please contact me and I will pair you with another client who also has similar intentions.

It is 100% okay and validate to still have a desire for weight-loss. We live in a world which has, for a long time, associated the worth of people; to how their body shows up. A lot of my clients still have moments where they would like their body to be different. Although I can’t promise you ‘weight-loss’ and I don’t work from a weight-centric lens; I can hold space for you as we acknowledge the desire to change your body, and together we can aim to pivot to a new framework which is focused on reconnecting you to health and well-being (on your terms).
Firstly, that may mean you need to redefine those terms for what they mean for you. And then together we can find supportive strategies and practises that can realign you to your own version of health and well-being.
What is magical, is that this process brings you to a whole new way of being in your body and with yourself. You can say goodbye to second-guessing and the ‘starting fresh on Monday’ programming and instead you can find a gentle and sustainable way to care for yourself and your body.
